Sandra LouAnn Tynes, age 73, passed away on January 9, 2025, in Lone Grove Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 17, 2025, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest with Pastor Joel Thompson officiating. Interment to follow in Lone Grove Cemetery, Lone Grove, Okla.

Sandra was born in Ardmore, Okla. on February 5th, 1951, to Vester and Vera (Howell) Clinton. She attended and graduated from Lone Grove High School with The Class of 1969. She married Doyle W. Tynes in 1968, while she was still in school because Doyle was called to serve his country. In the early 70’s, she went to work for Stromberg Carlson. After Doyle returned from the Army, they moved to Yuma, AZ., where she worked as a secretary for the local Army Base. In 1980, the couple moved their family back to Lone Grove, Okla., where she took a secretarial job for RSVP. In 1984, she started her eleven years with Uniroyal and was medically retired from Michelin in 1996.

Sandra will be remembered as an amazing cook. She was a crafter and loved to work with her hands, making jewelry, wreaths, and flower arrangements. She was a devout Christian who loved the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Doyle Tynes, two sons, Bradley Scott Tynes and Cory Dale Tynes and daughter-in-law, Sherry A. Tynes, and brother, Jerry Clinton.

Sandra is survived by sons: Travis Tynes, Kevin Tynes and Michael Tynes, all of Lone Grove, Okla., daughter, Jessica R. Hedges, of Grand Island, NB. granddaughter, Callie Tynes, of Lone Grove, grandsons, Joshua Tynes, of Ardmore, Corey Tynes of Lone Grove, sisters, Alice Irwin and husband Haskell of Oklahoma City, and Peggy Gibson and husband Fred of Knoxville, TN, and numerous nieces and nephews.
