Sharon Faye Beaird, age 70, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Ardmore, Okla. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016, at the Ardmore Convention Center, Ardmore, Okla., under the direction of the family. Sharon was born on December 13, 1945, to Doris Thompson and Marquitta (McGeehee) Thompson at Ardmore, Okla. She attended Dickson Schools and spent many years as a truck driver. She enjoyed playing pool, fishing, and being with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister, Lexie L. Thompson. Sharon is survived by her son, Scotty Beaird and wife, Becky, of Burneyville, Okla., and daughter, Lynnea Hackney and husband, Brent, of Ardmore, Okla. Grandchildren: Julie, Tina, Syndi, and Deanne, of Burneyville, Okla., and Lexi and Blake of Ardmore, Okla. Twelve great-grandchildren, brother, Dennis Thompson of Ada, Okla., nieces and nephew, Meagan, Joshua Thompson, and Linzi Thompson Bhatta.
