Obituary of Kimberly Kay Honeycutt

Kimberly Kay Honeycutt, age 47, passed away on August 3, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 10, 2024, in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home with Pastor Darryl Howard officiating. Cremation with care to follow services under the direction of Griffin ~ Hillcrest crematory. Kimberly was born in Altus, Okla. on August 4, 1976, to Charles Honeycutt and Karen (Burns) Honeycutt. After her parent’s divorce, she lived with her father in Mannsville, Okla. where she attended schools and later, she attended Helena, Montana schools and graduated from Helena High school. Kimberly went on to graduate from SOSU with a Bachelors in Sociology. She worked for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services as a Field Manager for twenty-six years. Kimberly married Travis Ray Vinson on September 29, 2007 in Ardmore, Okla. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Honeycutt. Kimberly is survived by her husband of seventeen years, Travis Vinson, two sons, Zachary Vinson and wife Ashlynn, and Andrew Vinson, and wife Lizette. Mother, Karen Honeycutt, Mother-in-law, Donna Vinson, sister, Cristy Ellis and husband Donavon, brother-in-laws, Johnny Vinson and wife Angela, and Kertis Vinson and wife Debbie. Sister-in-law, Terri Holbrook and husband Bill. Five nieces, Ashton Youngs, Ariane Ellis, Shelby Holbrook, Jamie Vinson and Haley Lee, two nephews, Joey Vinson, and Jeremy Vinson, and special friends, Margie King, Weldon O’Dell, Glenda Renfrow, Stacy Mowry, and Tina Wagoner. Canine companion, Leo. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest.
