Anna Mae Bob, age 88, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Ardmore, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Nelda Cemetery, Durwood, Okla., with Minister Michael Joe officiating.

Anna Mae was born on March 16, 1936 to Erie G. and Lillian (Colbert) Taylor at Durwood, Oklahoma. She attended Ardmore Schools. Anna married Jimmy Lee Bob on September 4, 1956. She worked at Cooks Laundry for many years before she went to work at Southbrook Nursing Home, both in Ardmore. She loved gospel singing, cooking for her family, and playing bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Erie G. and Lillian (Colbert) Taylor, Husband, Jimmy Lee Bob, daughter, Patricia Carney, grandson, Waylon Carney, sister, Ruby Joe, brothers-in-law, Don Joe and Ralph Marris, brother, Woodrow Taylor, and sister-in-law, Louise Taylor.

Anna is survived by her son, Alfred Bob, Sr., grandson, Alfred Bob Jr., and wife, Sally, great-grandchildren, Jaylon Bob and Devin Bob, sister, Pearl JoAnn Marris, special nephew, Jamie Parker, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Serving as casket bearers will be Brandon McCord, Brent Shelton, Dillon Davis, Trevor Aaron, Kendon Joe, and Jaylon Bob.

Prayer services will be held on Monday evening, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, July 29, 2024, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest of Ardmore.
