Obituary of Johnnie Lee Patterson

Johnnie Lee Patterson, age 81, passed away on March 31, 2024, in Ardmore, Okla. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 13, 2024, at East Main Church of Christ, Ardmore, Okla. with Pastor Albert Rice officiating. Services are under the direction of the Patterson family. Cremation with care under the direction of Griffin~Hillcrest. Johnnie was born on December 30, 1942 in Colton, Okla. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked in the oilfield rough necking for the most of his life. He Married Loretha Gooden on October 11, 2010, at the court house in Marietta, Okla. He enjoyed going fishing. Johnnie was devoted to mentoring children and volunteered at Will Rogers Elementary School as a Delta Foster Grandfather. He was a member of the East Main Church of Christ. He will be remembered for his sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Twyla Rudd, step-daughter, Sonya Holmes, step-son, Winfred Gordon, sister, Mary Johnson, and brother, James Patterson. Johnnie is survived by his wife, Loretha Patterson, step-daughter, Kelly and step-grandson, Dustin, step-children, Saundra (Gordon) Skates and husband, William, of Tulsa, Danny R. Gordon, Sr., and wife, Dawn, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and Angela (Gordon) Lane of Madill, brother-in-law, John Johnson, sister-in-law, Annie Patterson and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special cousin, Johnnie and Charlene Avery, and special friends, Lloyd and Betty Wickware.
