My friend…I don’t know where to start, you were bigger than life, your personality infectious, and your laughter so fun. I am saddened but completely understand…God needed you and He needed to take your pain away here on earth. I know that He had to give you a set of really special wings to fly because He knew you would be buzzing everywhere. Your family, your audience, your fans, and your friends there are all angels with wings too, but what I imagine is your wings are really important and have little sticky notes because you have so much too do and won’t sit still! The memories we shared will forever be etched in my heart…graduation day, walking that stage for our diplomas. Plainview class of 1985! Riding around on that drag in your tank (car) listening to Billy Squire. Running suicides in the old gym, back and forth, back and forth over and over till we were almost sick..with Coach Conway blowing that whistle again. Running the bases with Coach Wakefield and laughing playing catch on the hot days, wanting a drink of water so bad. Well track with mostly Coach Trimmer, was your thing…I did it, but I hated to run and you knew it. Thank you so much for the memories my friend. I am glad I got to talk to you last Thanksgiving. I am humbled that we got to be friends in the 6th grade and grew up together. Prayers going up for your family. Fly high my friend. Every once in a while nudge Chasity when she is doing that dancing that got on your nerves, to let her know, you are still the big sister. And gently kiss your mom on the cheek periodically so she can feel your presence…love you girl
