Marion “Travis” Odom, age 86, passed away on February 1, 2024, in Ardmore, Okla. Private family services were held Monday, February 5, 2024 at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Travis was born on December 6, 1937, to Marion Ed Odom and Zella (Byrne) Odom in Carter County, Okla. He attended and graduated from Ardmore High School with the class of 1956. He married Lily Ernestine “Tina” Smith on January 12, 1957, at Lone Grove, Okla. Travis then went on to attend Murray State College. He served his country in The United States Army from 1961 until 1963 when he was honorably discharged. He had various jobs over the years with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Travis believed in Jesus with all his being.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lily “Tina” Odom, daughter, Twila Dawn Potter, brothers, Tommy Wade Odom, Bobby Carol Odom, and Ricky Hardy Odom.

Travis is survived by his grandson, Dillon Potter and wife, Caitlin.
