Obituary of Linda Jean Buck

Linda Jean (Youngblood) Buck, age 76, passed away on September 20, 2023 in Marietta, Okla. Funeral services will be at 10:30am, Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at First Methodist Church of Ardmore with cremation to follow under the care of Griffin ~ Hillcrest. With The Rev. David Daniel officiating. Linda was born on December 25, 1946 to Edgar Richard Youngblood and Pauline (Hudson) Youngblood, in Okmulgee, Okla. She attended and graduated from Ardmore High School. She went onto college and received her Bachelor’s in Accounting. She worked for Adams Petroleum for many years and the Noble Energy Foundation. She married Thomas Buck on May 25, 1967. Linda followed her husband’s work and they lived in many different states. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ardmore. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Kathie Youngblood and Cristie Mahoney and son in-law, Wayne Haufler. She is survived by three children; Karen Haufler of Kansas City, MO, Kirk Buck of Ardmore, Okla., and Kimberly Grundy and husband Larry, of Groton, Connecticut. She also leaves eight grandchildren: Bradley Haufler, Rachael Haufler and Caleb Haufler and Cody Grundy and wife Kasey, Camille Grundy, Cavan Grundy, Pedro Ibarra and wife Casey and Alegria Lopez and husband Jamie. Great-grandchildren; Anna Lopez, Hunter Lopez, Brina Lopez, Cynthia Lopez, Evelyn Lopez, Natalie Lopez, Jamie Lopez, Liam Ibarra, Leonidas Ibarra, Lennox Ibarra, Luca Ibarra, Two sisters; Paula Holliman and Judy Gentry and husband John; and two brothers, Richard Youngblood and Tom Youngblood.
