Obituary of Terry Lynn Gibson

Terry Lynn Gibson, age 60, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Okla., surrounded by her family. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at McAlister Cemetery with the Reverend Jay Mule officiating. Terry was born in Ardmore, Okla., on June 17, 1962, to Lee Franklin Gibson Sr. and Venita Faye (Royal) Gibson. She attended Dickson Schools at Dickson, Okla., and went on to earn her GED. She worked as a dorm parent at Carter Seminary for many years. Terry loved taking care of her grandbabies and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandsons, Kylen Taylor and Derrick Taylor-Smith, and one brother, Pistol Gibson. Terry is survived by her son, Eric Paul Wallace, daughters: Selina Taylor, Chanena Taylor, and Tubby Faye Taylor. Eight grandchildren: Marko, Samara, Kayson, Kamari, Laudi, Levy, Sonny, and Khaliah. Sisters, Rhonda Lee Gibson and Shelly Smith, brothers, Timmie Joe Gibson and Jason Allen Gibson, and a host of family, bonus children, and friends. Serving as casket bearers will be Shannon Johnson Jr., Elijah Johnson, Isaiah Johnson, Chris Meeks, Gunner Meeks, Lee Gibson, Skyler Edwards, and David Wallace Jr. Honorary casket bearers will be Dennis Quiroz, Casey Gibson, Tim Gibson, Marko Coronado, and Sonny Edwards.
