Obituary of Frances Gayle Pletcher

Frances Gayle Pletcher, 86, of Springer passed from this life on December 31st, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, January 5, 2023, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Elmore officiating. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. She was born March 9th, 1936, to H.C. and Mae Ivey. She was a 1953 graduate of Springer High School. She and her husband, A.C. Pletcher, were life-long residents of Springer, Oklahoma, owning and operating the Spade Ranch and S.E.M. Corporation. She was a member of The First United Methodist Church in Ardmore. She is preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Pletcher, her parents, H.C. and Mae Ivey, and sister-in-law, Faye Ivey. Gayle is survived by her brother, Charles Ivey, of Edmond, son, Greg Pletcher and wife Francie, of Ardmore, son, Curt Pletcher of Springer, daughter, Kathy Walker and husband Bob of Springer, grandchildren, Nathan Pletcher, Heather Rice, Sandra Naef, Thomas Naef, Michelle Perry, Clint Pletcher, Garrett Pletcher, Chase Pletcher, Austin Pletcher, Jenna Pletcher, Terra Powell, Shannon Conway, January Cadotte, and Stacy Walker, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Pallbearers: Clint Pletcher, Garrett Pletcher, Chase Pletcher, Austin Pletcher, Gabe Powell, and Wes Conway. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation in her memory.
