Obituary of Shelbie Paige Morris

Shelbie Paige Morris, passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 19, 2022 at the age of 28 years, 2 months and 6 days. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 26, 2022, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest. Interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Shelbie was born to Kimberly Dawn Stuckey and Timothy Scott Morris on September 13, 1994, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Shelbie was the fourth of four girls born to Kimberly. She attended Ardmore City Schools and received her GED in 2021. She most recently resided in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Shelbie had a beautiful soul and a heart that loved bigger than she could ever show. She loved to sing and dance and was gifted in art and poetry. She had a silliness about her that made her impossible not to love, and her love for life even through all her heartache was an encouragement to others. She was free-spirited and loved God and every person she met -but none more than her family. Her laugh was contagious and she'll never be forgotten. She was one of kind and will be missed every day. Shelbie spent a large portion of her life battling addiction and her sisters can only hope that her spirit and memories will encourage the next one to have the strength to get help. Preceding her in death were her mother, Kimberly Dawn Stuckey, maternal grandmother, Rita McClaine, paternal grandfather, Joedy Stuckey and 'Momma' Connie Markle. Shelbie leaves to cherish her memories her father Timothy Scott Morris, Nocona, Texas; sisters, all of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Lynsey Nicole Brown, Bethany Rae'Lynn Stuckey (Ontra Anderson) and Taylor Brooke Stuckey. Her aunts, all of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Rhonda Pierce, Lisa Conway (Darrell "Bugs" Anderson) and Pam Raby. Nephews, Ti'Lee, Josiah, Kendrick, and Elias and niece Jillian. Cousins, Sammy Shumaker III, Cody Brown, Wesly Conway, Toby Conway, Bailee Raby-Speelman and Reece Raby. Shelbie also leaves behind numerous friends she considered and loved like family. A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, November 25, 2022, at Griffin~Hillcrest.
