Ellen Marie Sanders, age 72, passed away on October 26, 2022, at Marietta, Okla. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Ellen was born on July 19, 1950 to Russell R.S. Sanders and Velma (Griffin) Sanders, at Pomona, CA. She attended and graduated from Ganesha High School in Pomona, CA. with the class of 1969. Ellen was a member of the First Christian Church of Pomona, and she loved Jesus. She loved working with her hands doing arts and crafts and working outside in the garden. Ellen will be remembered for ability to spin a tall tail and was a great story teller. She loved all their family canine pets.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell R.S. Sanders and Velma (Griffin) Sanders.
Ellen is survived by her brother, Gregory Sanders, sister, Doris Malone and husband, Luther S. all of Ardmore, Okla., two nephews, Chris Malone and wife, Heather of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota and Scott Malone, and three grandnieces, Adele Malone, Vikki Malone and Mercedes Malone.
