Floyd Robinson, age 79, passed away on October 6, 2022 in Wilson, Okla. Graveside services will be 10:30 am, Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Provence Cemetery with Pastor Marilyn Gunsolus officiating.
Floyd was born on November 17, 1943, to Claud and Jewel (Garland) Robinson. He graduated from Dickson High School with the Class of 1961. After graduation, he worked in the oilfield for six months and later took a position with Carter County District One as a truck driver and retired after 20 years. Floyd married Miss Nona Johnson on December 23, 1972 in Paris, Texas. Floyd was a Volunteer Fireman for over 18 years with the Dickson Fire Department. He loved to take care of his garden and yard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Eugene Robinson, brother, Richard Robinson, and grandson, Baby Robinson.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Nona Robinson, brother, Harold Robinson and wife Lou, sister-in-law, Sandy Robinson, and two nieces; Celina Renee Walls and Sissie Keck.
Serving as pallbearers will be the Dickson Fire Fighters.
