Hubert Dean McGahan, age 86, went to be with the Lord early Monday morning, September 12, 2022 at his home/ranch in Lone Grove, Oklahoma. His “Celebration of a Life Well Lived” will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 20th, 2022, at First Assembly of God in Lone Grove, Okla. The church is located at 15657 US-70, Lone Grove, OK 73443. Reverend Gary Dotson and Chris McGahan will be officiating. Hubert was born May 1, 1936. Hubert worked in the oilfield from the time he was 16. He was a hard worker and always loved owning land and fixing it up and making improvements on the properties that he owned. Hubert is known as a very loving and generous man who loved God and made Jesus the Lord of his life. Not only did he like talking about the Lord, Hubert lived a life dedicated to Jesus. Hubert’s idea of a great time was helping people in need. He enjoyed that much more than having a better quality of life for himself. Hubert will greatly missed and be remembered and loved by many family members and friends. His legacy of love and giving is a powerful testimony of a life well lived. “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21 Hubert was preceded in death by his two Godly parents, Harvey and Virginia McGahan who taught all their children to love God. Also preceded in his death are two brothers, George and Arthur, along with four sisters, Levelia, Myrtle, Lola, and Leona. His sister Pearline is survived by him. Hubert is also survived by his wife Linda, stepson Shane and his wife Angelia, stepdaughter Stephanie, and her significant other Michael, step grand-daughter, Tiana, and step-great grandson Rogan. Hubert is also survived by his son Chris McGahan and wife Mary Ann and 3 grandchildren. Kimberly McGahan and her two sons, Christian and Canon; Micah McGahan and wife Christi and their two children, Clint and Trinity; Krista Hopkins and her husband Terry, and their 2 children Tiger and Teal. He is survived by many nieces and nephews whom he loved as well.To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Hubert McGahan, please visit Tribute Store
