Obituary of Arnold Ray Lewis

Arnold Ray Lewis, age 67, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, in Marietta, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Durwood Cemetery of Marshall County, Okla., with the Reverend Vincent Baptiste officiating.
Arnold was born on August 16, 1955, to Edwin Lewis and Amelia (Shoemaker) Campos, at Madill, Okla. He worked in construction for many years and was a Journeyman Plumber until an injury at work forced him into an early retirement. He loved family, spending time with his grandchildren, and his church family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings: Joe Brown, Gary Brown, Charley Lewis, Linda Dean, and Minnie Jean Stapleton, and one grandchild, Alexcia Acosta.
Arnold is survived by Marquetta, his companion for over 30 years, his children: Arnold Lewis, Jr., Jennifer Lewis, Ashley Lewis, Dylan Lewis, Angela Lewis, and Delorah Lewis. Nineteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Sister, Betty Baptiste, niece, Shelby Stapleton, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, September 7, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home, of Ardmore.
