Gerald Dwain Cox, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, in Ardmore, Okla. A small family gathering was held in his honor. Cremation with care under the direction of Griffin~Hillcrest Funeral home of Ardmore, Okla.

Gerald was born on April 11, 1948, to Franklin “Blue” Cox and Rachel (Carlile) Cox in Wilson, Okla. He met and married Karen Cox and the couple resided in Ardmore, Okla., until his passing. Gerald worked as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed playing dominos and loved spending time with his family, friends, and dog “Schotsy”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Lonnie Cox , sister-in-law, Carolyn Cox, and a great-grandson.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Karen, daughters, Kelly Suzanne and husband, Bob, Stacey, Nessa, and Tammy, sons, Steven and girlfriend, Kimberly, Jason, and Brian, grandsons, Eric, Dakota, Gage and wife, Charisma, Caden, and Alex, granddaughters, Katie and boyfriend, Tyler, Kelsi and boyfriend, Kason, and Hailey, great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Hayden, Mason, Shiloh, Jaylee, Jesse, Eric, Vaan Lee, Leonardo, Kane, and Cherish.
