Elizabeth Wasson Wall, age 78, passed away on April 5, 2016, at her home in Ardmore, Okla. after a long illness. There will be private family services.
Elizabeth was born July 11, 1937 in Wilson, Okla., to Marcus M. Wasson, Jr., and Reba Campbell Wasson. Elizabeth was the third generation Wasson in Carter County and the Oil Business. She was a world traveler and had a varied career. It was her great joy to serve the Ardmore YWCA, first on the board of directors and later as executive director. She participated in many organizations and clubs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Marcus M. Wasson, III.
Elizabeth was the beloved wife of Ralph E. Wall and mother of five children, Mary, Brad, Louise, Roger, and Loretta. She had six grandchildren; Roger, Jr., Jennifer, Kevin, Patrick, Joshua, and Erica, and great-granddaughter, Megan. She is also survived by her sister, Mildred Lindsey.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Elizabeth’s name to Cross Timbers Hospice, 207 C St. NW, Ardmore, OK 73401.
