Sheila McMillan, age 89, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Ardmore, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 11, 2022, at Rose Hill Cemetery of Ardmore. Pastor Bobby Freeman will officiate. Sheila was born on November 29, 1932, to Jim and Allene Powell at Lone Grove, Okla. She and her siblings, Jack Powell, Marzella (Powell) Kelly, Bill Powell, and Johnny Charles Powell, graduated from Lone Grove High School. Sheila married J.C. McMillan in 1951 and they lived in Ardmore, Okla. J.C. and Sheila had four sons, James McMillan, A.J. McMillan, Earl McMillan, and Danny McMillan, and two daughters, Joyce McMillan and Patricia McMillan. Sheila worked at the Oklahoma Veterans Center for many years prior to retiring from the center. She loved spending time with her grandkids, Laurna Castleberry McMillan, Megan Thompson, Chad McMillan, Brandon McMillan, Ethan McMillan, and Nathan McMillan, and her numerous great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. McMillan, son, Earl McMillan, daughter, Patricia McMillan and all of her siblings. Sheila is survived by her sons, James McMillan, A.J. McMillan, and Danny McMillan, and daughter, Joyce McMillan. Grandchildren: Laurna Castleberry McMillan, Megan Thompson, Chad McMillan, Brandon McMillan, Ethan McMillan, and Nathan McMillan. Numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
