William Steve Lee, age 71, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, in Ardmore, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Provence Cemetery.
William was born in Ardmore, Okla. on January 3, 1950, to Monroe Curtis Lee and Pauline (Thomas) Lee. He graduated from Ardmore High School with the Class of 1967. He married the love of his life, Ms. Carol Wiggins, on Sept 24, 1968, in Ardmore, Okla. William worked for The Chevy House, Central Body Shop and Ardmore Paint and Body for many years until his retirement in the early 1995. He loved to raise game birds, fight them and pitching horseshoes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers: Tootie Lee, Gene Lee, Larry Lee and Donald Lee.
William is survived by his wife, Carol Lee, three sons, Steve Lee and wife, Pennie, Billy Joe Lee and wife, Effie, and Joe Lee and wife, Sara, ten grandchildren, twelve great- grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Casket Bearers will be his sons and grandsons.
