Vincent Ray “Dino” Marris-Powell, age 59, passed away on November 19, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Okla. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, November 29, 2021, in McAlister Cemetery. Dino was born on January 21, 1962, to James Andrew Hanners and Jo Ann (Marris) Day in Tulsa, Okla. Dino was raised by his aunt, Leola Powell and lived in Ardmore all his life except for four years when he lived in Ozark, Arkansas. He worked for Kent Construction and also for Sunbeam Bread Factory in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. His hobbies included telling stories to his children/grandchildren, fishing, cooking, and playing basketball and dominos. He was preceded in death by parents, brothers, Mike Holt, Jerry Lane, David Powell, sisters, Gwenda Marris, Latisha Gibson Dino is survived by his Fiancé, Nancy Bailey, daughters, Jessica Johnson, Talia Marris, Brittany Powell, and husband, Taylor Ricks, sons, Jason Kent, Brandon Kent, Sammy Powell, sisters, Bonnie Day, Yolanda Thompson, brothers, Royce Day and K.C. Holt, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Kent, Taylor Ricks, Brandon Kent, and Jarrod Lane.
