Darrell “Dee” Deck, age 56, of Wayne, Okla., passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, in Purcell, Okla. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Legate Cemetery in Love County.
Darrell was born on February 22, 1965, to Kenneth Deck and Wanda Jean (Payne) Deck in Santa Cruz, Cali. He graduated from Dickson High School. He married Vicky Love on September 29, 1984 in Ardmore, Okla. He was the manager at Paws Animal Shelter in Ada, Okla. for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and granddaughter, Reagan Deck.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Vicky Deck, three daughters, Tiffany Laxton, Jennifer Matazo and Casie Deck, son, Garen Thompson, two brothers, Leon Deck and Gene Deck, one sister, Rebecca Ann Ingram, ten grandchildren, Madison Deck, Emily Laxton, Logan Laxton, Jaylynn Kaniatobe, Tatum McCraw, Melody Matozo, Kaiden Matazo, Hunter Kaniatobe and Alyson Matozo.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, November 12, 2021, at Griffin~Hillcrest Funeral Home.
