Jimmy Eugene Powell, age 57, left this earth and went home to heaven on October 31, 2021, in Ardmore, Okla. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 4, 2021, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest. Cremation under the care of Griffin~Hillcrest Crematory. Jimmy was born on December 30, 1963 in Ardmore, Okla. to the late Troy Powell and Elaine (Hennessy) Powell. He graduated from Dickson High School in 1982 and went to work for Uniroyal. After leaving Uniroyal, he owned and operated Ardmore Auto Salvage. He married Tracy Hoedebeck in 1984 and of that marriage two sons were born, Jimmy Lee Powell and Ray Dale Powell. He is preceded in death by his parents, and aunt, Judy Allison. Jimmy is survived by his girlfriend, Keisha Blakely, sisters; Denise Trivitt of Marietta, Okla., Theresa Hennessy of Gene Autry, Okla., and Judy Simpler, of Ardmore, Okla., one brother, Mike Powell, of Ardmore, grandchildren; Raylee Powell, Makenzee Powell, Addie Powell, Elsie Powell, Camron Greene, Bayleigh Greene, Trace Powell, and Gage Powell, and nieces and nephews, Jennifer and husband, Allen, of Marietta, Jamie of Marietta, Galen Powell, of Ardmore, Keith Allen, of Gene Autry, Jessie Idleman and husband, Doyle, of Wilson, and Ashley Broderson and husband, Garrett, of Ardmore, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
