Obituary of Chad Cullen Lewis

Chad Cullen Lewis, age 42, passed away on August 7, 2021, after a brief illness in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, August 16, 2021, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest. Cremation with care to follow after services. Chad was born on November 24, 1978, to Charles Edwin Lewis and Christine Lewis in Lawton, Okla. Chad attended schools at Springdale, Dickson, Jones Academy and Sequoyah High School. He was of the Baptist faith. His hobbies included music and riding around with friends. He loved to have cookouts for his friends and family. He worked at OU football stadium as a grounds keeper. Chad enjoyed watching OU football and San Francisco 49’ers. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorsey and Anita Mose, Edwin Lewis and Amelia Campos, his special aunt, Dorislene Morgan, aunt Jean Stapleton, aunt Linda Tahermandarjai, and two uncles, Joe Brown, Gary Brown, and Sister-in-law Jaime Lewis. Chad is survived by his two sons, Este-Chate Lewis and Silas Jacob Lewis of Ardmore, one daughter, Jenesis Lewis and boyfriend Elijah Wagoner who is expecting Chad’s first granddaughter Legacy Samara Wagoner all of Ardmore. His father, Charles “Charlie” Lewis, Ardmore, mother, Christine Lewis of Lone Grove, one brother, Coby Lewis, one sister, Ziva Lewis, of Lone Grove, several nephews, nieces, and great nephews and niece.
