Obituary of Augusta Carol ( Stevenson) Nugent

Augusta Carol ( Stevenson) Nugent, age 65, passed away on May 4, 2016, at Oklahoma City, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church of Milo, Okla. Cremation to follow under the direction of Griffin ~ Hillcrest Crematory. Carol was born on July 24, 1950, Hardy Farris and Mable (Martin) Stevenson at Milo, Okla. She attended Milo Schools. She married Nathaniel Nugent on February 22, 1967, at Gainesville, Texas. Carol worked at Michelin formally known as Uniroyal for 30 years and retired in 2014. She enjoyed fishing, and in her retirement, spending time with her grandchildren and reading her books. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one daughter, Yolanda Caprice Nugent. Carol is survived by three sons: Anthony Nugent and wife, Petrina, Kelvin Nugent, and Nathaniel Nugent, five daughters: Katrina Nugent, Rebecca Musgrove and husband, Pat, Patricia Nugent and fiance, Robert Clem, Donna Nugent, Cheryl Nugent, twenty-eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. The family will greet visitors on Friday, May 6, 2016, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home.
