Alex Andario Turner, Jr., age 74, passed away on March 13, 2021, in Norman, Okla. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home. Alex was born on October 8, 1946, to Alex Sr. and Gloria Jean (Curry) Turner. Alex attended elementary school and graduated from Ardmore Douglas High School. Alex, Jr. enlisted in the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War and then was honorably discharged. He worked as a cook for fifteen years in Norman, Okla., of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority until he retired and loved to watch sports. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Denise Horton, Arlanda Williamson, and brother-in-law, Curtis Stevenson. Alex is survived by his four sisters, Elizabeth Stevenson, Patricia McClane, Leslie Wallace, and Stacy Turner, one brother, Leon Turner, brother-in-law, Joey Williamson, special friend, Wanda Wembley and a host of nieces, and nephews.
