Obituary of Winston Taylor

Winston Taylor, age 68, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Okla. Graveside services will be 2:00pm, Friday, March 5, 2021, at Durwood Cemetery with The Reverend Stanley Shomo officiating. Winston was born on October 9, 1952, to Edward Lawrence Taylor and Alice (Tubbee) Taylor. He attended Dallas Texas Schools until the age of 17 when his health kept him home. He loved doing arts and crafts and to listening to his music. He enjoyed playing bingo when given a chance. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Danny Taylor and Ed Taylor, and two sisters, Doris Taylor and Valerie Taylor. Winston is survived by seven siblings: Geraldine Taylor of Ardmore, Margie Taylor of Durwood, Letha Taylor of Durwood, Richard Taylor and wife Sandra of Ardmore, Jennifer Taylor of Durwood, Eileen Hughes and husband Chris of Ardmore, and Stephanie Frank and husband Norman of Ardmore, aunt, Josephine Taylor of Durwood, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Griffin~Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore, Okla.
