Wilma June Stuckey, age 87, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016, at Oklahoma City, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Reck Cemetery, Wilson, Okla. Pastor Cody Lee Parrott will officiate. Wilma was born on June 21, 1929 to Thomas Homer White and Emily Ruth Gibson Rochelle at Sulphur, Okla. Wilma attended an all-girl’s Catholic School at Sulphur. She later attended and graduated from Dallas Beauty College. After her graduation, she married Melvin Waco Stuckey on July 20, 1950, in Gainesville, Texas. Wilma became a homemaker and from this marriage came seven children. She enjoyed to crochet and visiting with people. She will be remembered for her giving heart and always willing to help anyone in need. She was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas Homer White and Emily Ruth Rochelle, husband, Melvin Stuckey, Sr., sons: Melvin Stuckey, Jr. and Jimmie Stuckey, and daughter, Ruth Roberts. Wilma is survived by four children: Wanda Freer, Sandra Greene, Melva Vaughan, and Debbie Hitchcock, 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday evening, November 28, 2016, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Griffin~Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore, Okla. Condolences may be left at www.griffinhillcrest.com.
