Obituary of Laura D. Rose

Laura D. “Blondie” Rose, age 55, passed away on August 19, 2020, in Ardmore, Okla., with her family by her side. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, August 25, 2020, in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest. Cremation is under the care of Hillcrest Crematory. A private interment will follow at McAlister Cemetery, Overbrook, Okla. Laura was born on August 25, 1964, in Ardmore, Okla. She graduated from Dickson High School in 1982. Laura was a free spirit. She never met a stranger and she never forgot you. Laura lived her life to the fullest, loved to make people laugh and her hobby was buying gifts for her loved ones. She loved her family and was proud of her children, especially the light of her life, granddaughter, Sawyer Sue Jones who lovingly referred to her as her MeMe. She is preceded in death by her Father, Burl McBeth, Maternal Grandparent, Arch and Grace Gentry and Paternal Grandparents, Marvin and Marie McBeth, Laura is survived by her significant other, Glenn Payne, Jr., two children, Justin Jones and wife, Suzi, of Ardmore, Madison Jones, of Gene Autry, Okla., grandbaby, Sawyer Jones, parents, Betty McBeth-Vines her husband Steve, brothers, Arlen Rose and Randy Rose and his companion Debby Bartels, both of Dickson, Okla., sister, Susan Stewart, and husband, Marlon, nephew, Ryan Stewart, niece, Randii Tucker, and husband, Jamie. Family visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, August 24, 2020 at Griffin- Hillcrest.
