Obituary of Crystal (Dobos) Duke

Crystal (Dobos) Duke, age 47, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at Ardmore, Okla. Private family services were held. Cremation under the direction of Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home. Crystal was born to Phyllis N. Berry on March 14, 1973, at Ardmore, Okla. Crystal attended Ardmore Schools and married Homer Ray “Shorty” Duke on March 23, 1991, at Dickson Baptist Church of Dickson, Okla. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Crystal devoted herself to her family. She loved to make dream catchers and keep her hands busy with crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Ray “Shorty” Duke, and sister, Eva Mendez. Crystal is survived by her mother, Phyllis N. Berry, of Ardmore, four children: Jose Avila, Jamie Mason, and Echo Duke, all of Ardmore, and Evelin Duke, of Dickson. Grandchildren: Kassidy Avila, Isabella Avila, Jeremiah Avila, Maci Hill, Emilia Avila, Ayden Duke, Leah Mason, and Raven Duke, brother, Dustin Dobos, and sister, Michelle Berry, both of Ardmore.
