Dee Ramsey passed away at the age of 87 at his home in Ardmore, Okla., on Friday, July 8, 2016. Private services will be held at a later date.
Dee was born on July 26, 1928, in Davis, Okla., to Elvis Gilbert Ramsey and Unis Magnolia (Myers) Ramsey. Dee married Frances Pepin Hart on May 4, 1956, in Stillwater, Okla. The family moved to Ardmore in 1960. He owned and operated Dee Ramsey Air Conditioning until 2007 when he passed it on to Bobby Phillips. It is still in operation today. When Dee had free time, he enjoyed going fishing,
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Frances Ramsey, and one sister.
Dee is survived by his two girls: Charlotte Trussell of Spring Branch, Texas, and Hyral Smith of Tahlequah, Okla.
