Obituary of Barbara Ann (Patton) Agan

Barbara Ann (Patton) Agan, age 80, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019, in Ardmore, Okla. The family will have a gathering on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore.  Cremation will follow under the direction of Hillcrest Crematory.

Barbara was born on May 7, 1939, in Ardmore, Okla., to Hershel Patton and Bandine Joyce (Cates) Patton. She attended Springer Schools. Barbara married Chester Laven Agan on October 4, 1958. She worked for Luke Inn Manor in Ardmore and worked as a private nurse for the family of Mr. and Mrs. Jones, then Mrs. Dora. Following her nursing career, Barbara became a stay at home mom.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Chester Agan, two sisters, Wilma Warren and Rita Jo Potter, and two brothers, James Patton and Haskel Patton.

Barbara is survived by her children: Terry Mulrooney and husband, Mike, Tina Floyd and husband, Emerald, Michael Laven Agan and wife, Vicki, of all of Ardmore, and Brandi Hunter and husband, Stacy, of Lone Grove, Okla., twelve grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
