Obituary of June D. Page

June D. (Dillon) Page, age 87, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 1, 2019, in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home of Ardmore with The Reverend Dewain Duck officiating and Mr. Joe Jacobs serving as eulogist. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Ardmore.

June was born on March 29, 1931, to Claude Dillon and Minnie (Croskell) Dillon, at Baum, Okla. She attended and graduated from Dickson Schools. June married Hoyt C. Page on June 5, 1949, at Dickson, Okla. She worked as a clerk for the United States Department of Agriculture and retired after 32 years of service.  She attended Bethel Assembly of God Church. June loved the time she spent volunteering at Loaves and Fishes, a local food bank, and her time volunteering with OSU Extension.  Her favorite hobbies included bus trips with her husband and sisters, and travel with her family. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of Ardmore Quilters’ Guild.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and granddaughter, Jordan Page. Twin sister, Jean Buchanan, and sisters: Mary D. Cochran and Claudine Phipps.  

June is survived by two sons: Hoyt Dillon Page, and wife, Vickie, and Virgil Ray Page and friend, Sharon. Grandchildren: H.D. Page, Shawna Page and JR., Johna Page-Bland, and husband, Toby, Kelli Page, Adam Page, Jacob Page and wife Kailee, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Serving as her pallbearers will be June’s great-grandsons.
