Obituary of Dylon James Bruce

Dylon James Bruce, age 15, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Wilson, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, February 1, 2019, The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest of Ardmore, Okla. Interment to follow in Provence Cemetery, Ardmore.

Dylon was born at Ardmore, on May 4, 2003, to Kenny Bruce and Catina (Turner) Bruce. He enjoyed ice cream, bumpy roads, boat riding, riding on the mower with dad, and bouncing on the trampoline. He loved sitting around with his Dad and listening to Rodney play electric guitar. Dylon loved when his Mother would hold him and watch TV. He especially loved listening to Christian music. He enjoyed the vibrations the bass would make. Dylon enjoyed going to his Aunt Christy’s house on Saturdays for her home cooking and spending time playing with his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Fred Bruce, paternal grandmother, Marie Bruce, maternal grandfather, William “Tooter” Gilbert, and maternal aunt, Cassie Turner.

Dylon is survived by his father, Kenny Bruce and Angie, mother, Catina Bruce and Tony Neely, of Ardmore, Okla. Brothers, Dakota Turner and wife Trysta, Kenny Bruce and wife Stephanie, and Randall Click and wife Samantha, all of Ardmore, Okla. Sisters: Carri Key, Kylie Freeman and husband JR, and Amanda Harger and Casey Harger, all of Ardmore.  Maternal grandmother, Donna Gilbert, maternal aunt, Christy Hubbard and husband, Lewis, nanny, Amanda Melton, Johnnie Melton, and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home.
