Margaret L. Warford, age 90, passed away on July 22, 2016, at Wilson, Okla.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, July 25, 2016, at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Pastor Billy Holder Officiating.
Margaret was born on June 30, 1926, to Fred Turner and Emma G. (Toombs) Turner in Marshall County. Margaret married Edison Dewberry on March 26, 1944, in Kingston, Okla., and from that marriage came four children. Margaret was a homemaker and a stay at home mom. She would make western shirts for her son and dresses for her daughters and did anything she could to care for her family. After her children left home, she filled her time working as a waitress at Hilltop and Coral Restaurant. In 1974, she opened Bill’s Catfish. After the marriage to Edison ended, Margaret married Wayne Morgan in December of 2005, at Lake Texoma. She loved to garage sale and reselling her finds. She loved working with her hands gardening and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Morgan, daughter, Emma Dean Dewberry, two sisters; Dorothy Schane and Lorilla Coop and three brothers; Marvin Turner, Melvin Turner and infant brother.
Margaret is survived by her son, Ray Dewberry, and wife Carolyn, two daughters; Barbara Dunlap, and husband Charles, and Darlene Labeth, five Grandchildren, eight Great-Grandchildren, five Great-Great-Grandchildren, and one brother, Fred Turner.
Honorary Pallbearers will be; Ed Dewberry, Jimmy Cross, Jeffery Vaughan, Andrew Soto, Corbin Cross and Ray-Ray Cook.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Sunday evening, July 24, 2016, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home.
