Charissa Renee Carney, age 38, passed away on August 11, 2016, at Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, August 15, 2016, at The Lords Church, 928 Lake Murray Dr., Ardmore, Okla., with Steve Kahbeah Officiating. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Charissa was born on December 29, 1977, at Claremore, Okla. She graduated from Ardmore High School. She took nursing classes at Southern Oklahoma Technology Center. Charissa attended the Lords Church on Lake Murray Drive in Ardmore, Okla. She was preceded in death by her grandma, Agusta Carney Genn, grandfather, Sam Carney, uncles, Martin Carney, Glenn Carney, Keith Carney and great uncle, Frank Stribbling and one great aunt, Ruth Gibson. Charissa is survived by her mother, Teresa Carney, brother, Eugene Kahbeah, uncles, Johnny Carney, Nick Carney and Dennis Carney, two aunts, Jackie Carney and Trish Carney, two sisters, Cheba and Rusty Douthit, and their children Heaven, Vaden, and Gracie, and Alicia Bark, and her children, Lauryn, Georgia, Maxwell, and Vivian, and four nephews, Dakota Kahbeah, Eugene Kahbeah, Jr., Joseph Kahbeah and Sonny Kahbeah. A visitation will be held on Sunday evening, August 14, 2016, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Griffin~Hillcrest.
