Rebecca Lynn Fletcher, age 49, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at her home in Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 20, 2016, in The Chapel in Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home with The Rev. Steve Skinner officiating. Cremation to follow services.
Rebecca was born on September 1, 1966, to David Davidson and Hawaii Lois (Wilson) Davidson, at San Jose, California. The family moved from there to Lewisville, Texas, where she attended high school and loved playing her clarinet in the band. She graduated from high school and married Phillip Ivy, and from this marriage came two children, Christina and Misty. She worked at Tyson Foods as a chicken processor. In 1993, they divorced and she moved to Tacoma, Washington, and then married Curtis Fletcher in 1995 and they lived in Carrolton, Texas, and later moved to Lone Grove, Okla. The couple divorced and she continued being a stay at home mother caring for her children. Rebecca love coloring and drawing and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three uncles, Woodrow Francis
Minor, Jackie “Jinkie” Wilson, and Alphus Jim Jefferson.
She is survived by two daughters, Christina Ivy and Misty Ivy, two grandchildren, Alicia Padron and Natalie Cano, two brothers, David Davidson and Mark Davidson, three aunts, Sandra Carillo, Pat Tiawana John, and Arnetta Higgins.
Visitation will be held on Friday evening, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, on August 19, 2016, at The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home.
