David Wesley Davis, age 45, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Ardmore, Okla. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 PM on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the House of Prayer, under the direction of the family, with Pastor Larry Murray officiating. Private interment services to take place in Provence Cemetery. David was born to Odis Davis and Betty (Randolph) Davis on February 9, 1973, at Ardmore, Okla. He attended Ardmore Elementary Schools. In 1984, the family moved to Enid, Okla., where he continued his education at Enid Public Schools. The family relocated back to Ardmore and he attended Dickson Schools. David married in 1989. He worked off and on his entire life for Davis Roofing Company. He enjoyed working on his truck and going fishing any time he could. He was preceded in death by his father, and two brothers: Danny Davis and Odis Lee Davis. David is survived by his mother, Betty Walker, of Ardmore, two daughters: Amber Davis and Sara Davis and two sons: David Davis Jr. and Travis Davis. Two brothers: Ocie Davis and Johnnie Minyard, five sisters: Clara Bonner, Debbie Walker, Cindy Wells, Marsha Hobbs, and Ellen Harris, all of Ardmore, and step-brother, Terry Walker McDaniel, of Sanger, Texas. Numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
