Obituary of Norma Jean (Williamson) Adams

Norma Jean (Williamson) Adams, age 71, went to heaven on March 28, 2018, in Ardmore, Okla. Cremation services are under the direction of Hillcrest Crematory. No services are planned at this time.

Norma Jean was born on June 23, 1946, to James L. and Dean Williamson in Ardmore, Okla. She retired from the Carter County Health Department after a longtime service to the citizens of Carter County. Norma Jean attended school at Springdale and Dickson High School. After graduation she joined the U.S. Navy where she served her country in San Diego, California. While in the service she met and married Robert Franklin, from whom one daughter was born. Later in life she married Grant Adams Jr. in Gainesville, Texas. Norma Jean and Grant enjoyed going to auctions and collected what they called their precious junk.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Norma Jean is survived by her daughter; Robin Jean Berry, two grandsons; Justin L. Berry and Grant D. Berry, great-granddaughter, Jaedan L. Berry, one sister, Susie L. Jones, two brothers, Jimmie L. Williamson and Mickey D. Williamson.
