Deloris Mae Lantrip received her angel’s wings at her home on September 3, 2016, after a long battle with COPD. A celebration of life will be held at 10:30am, Friday, September 9, 2016, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore, Okla.
Deloris was born on June 23, 1944, to Claude C. Thomas and Doris Mae (Gravitt) Thomas in Ardmore, Okla. She was a graduate of Ardmore High School and married Robert “ Bob” Lantrip in 1962 at the Lake Murray Chapel. She worked for Stewart Title Company until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Lantrip, father, C.C. Thomas, mother, Doris Alford, and brothers: Jerry and Jimmy Thomas.
Deloris is survived by her daughter, Monica Rozzell, and son, Robert Lantrip. Grandchildren: Joey Lantrip and wife, Jacky, Edward Rozzell and wife, Brynn, Bobbi Rozzell, Tyler Todd and husband, Dylan, Robbie Lantrip, Dalton Lantrip, Ashlyn Lantrip, and Alex Lantrip. Thirteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
