Robert Wayne Kent, age 57, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018, in Ardmore, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 26, 2018, at Provence Cemetery with The Reverend Steve Skinner officiating. Robert was born on December 19, 1960, to Billy Kent and Vivian (Blanton) Kent in Ardmore, Okla. He attended Ardmore and Dickson Schools. He worked at Kent’s Construction from the time he was 15 years old until the present. On May 19, 1979, he married Jeannie Parker at Ardmore and from that marriage came two children, James Kent and Judi Bamburg. That marriage ended and he married Yolanda Day and from that marriage came daughter, Bessie Kent. That marriage later ended. Robert enjoyed playing dominoes and cards, and fishing with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Kent. Robert is survived by one son, James Kent, and two daughters: Judi Bamburg and Bessie Kent. Father, Billy Kent. Four granddaughters: Miley, Jacie, Jaden, and Phoenix. Brothers: Shannon Boatman, and wife, Sherry, and David Kent, and sisters: Sharon Fuentes, Jo Lynn Pemberton and husband, Billy, Donna Kent, Rene Northam and husband, Matthew, and Debbie Frasier and husband, Jemey. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Kent, Duston Kent, Blake Frasier, Charles Woods, Matthew Woods, and Juan Onate. Serving as honorary bearers will be Dino Marris, Cody Frasier, Brandon Kent, and Stephen Hoosier. A visitation will be held on Sunday evening, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, February 25, 2018, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home of Ardmore.
