Obituary of James Andrew Hanners

James Andrew “Andy” Hanners, age 80, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017, in Tishomingo, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 4, 2017, in McAlister Cemetery with Pastor Donny Custar officiating.

 

Andy was born on August 24, 1937, to Jesse James Hanners and Nettie Annabell (Stidham) Hanners in Ardmore, Okla. His hobbies included fishing and watching Television.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, half-brothers: Ward Holt, Eugene Holt, and William “Bill” Holt, and nephew, Clifford Ray Holt.

 

Andy is survived by his three sons; Vincent (Dino) Marris, Mike Holt, KC Holt, one daughter, Peggy Jo Sanchez, nephew, Kenny Bruce, and niece, Sherri Holt, both of Ardmore, Okla.

 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Griffin~Hillcrest.
