Obituary of Marvena Jean Tucker

Marvena Jean Tucker, age 45, passed away on August 23, 2017 at Lone Grove, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Cheek Cemetery with Pastor Ed Skidmore officiating.

Marvena was born on August 3, 1972, at Ardmore, Okla., to Marvin D. Wendt and Claudia (Gandy) Wendt. She attended Lone Grove High School. Marvena married Kenneth Tucker on August 4, 1995 and became a stay at home mother. She devoted her life to her family and attended any sporting event that her children were involved in. Marvena will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and daughter.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin D. Wendt, maternal grandparents, Claude and Lottie Gandy and paternal grandparents, Marvin A. Wendt and Marion Zulke.

Marvena is survived by her husband, Kenneth Tucker, two children; Ashley Tucker and Chance Tucker of Lone Grove Okla., two grandchildren; Kayla Crawley and Riley Burnett, two bothers; Glenn Wendt and Lynn Wendt, and a host of family and friends.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Griffin ~ Hillcrest.
