Obituary of April Dawn Potter

April Dawn Potter, age 46, passed away on May 25, 2017, at Ardmore, Okla.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 6, 2017, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest with Pastor Ed Skidmore to officiate.

We lost a dear friend to many of us. April was born on May 7, 1971, to Ron “Papa” Jordan and Pamela June “PJ” Jordan, at Ardmore, Okla. She married Fred Potter III on July 16, 1999 in Ardmore, Okla. April became the mother of four beautiful children; Spencer, Samuel, Olivia and Abigail. She was also a loving step-mom to Helene. She touched so many lives with her joyful free spirit and shared great strengths and love to those she encountered.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ron “Papa” Jordan, cousin, Courtney Ashworth.

April is survived by her mother, Pamela June “PJ” Jordan, four children; Spencer Avery Potter, Samuel Greer Potter, Olivia Laine Potter and Abigail Brooklyn Potter, step-daughter, Helene Marie Potter, the children’s father, Fred Potter III, grandmother, Rozzetta Jurgensen, brother, Matthew Jordan, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
