Obituary of Teresa Yvette Greeley
Teresa Yvette “Terri” Greeley, age 61, has moved on as of May 23, 2017, at Ardmore, Okla. and will have two nights of visitation services on Friday, May 26, 2017, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, May 27, 2017, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Griffin ~ Hillcrest funeral home. Private family interment will take place at Provence Cemetery.
Terri was born on January 15, 1956, to Gilbert and Dorothy (Goodwin) St. Clair in Davenport, Iowa. She attended grade school in Chicago and later graduated from Canton, Illinois. She married John Patrick Greeley on January 19, 1974, in Canton, Illinois. The couple moved to Ardmore in 1982, following her husband’s career.
The family will remember Terri as a person that would embody an author Kim Stanly Robinson who said “Coming into this world is a gift and we should return it with interest while we are here.” Her husband and daughter will always thank her for being that kind of person. Terri made the most of some tough times and that’s the best one can do.
The family cannot thank you all enough for all your kind and reassuring words.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Leonard St. Clair and Leslie St. Clair and sister-in-law, Gwen St. Clair.
Terri is survived by her husband, Patrick, of the home, one daughter, Erica Jane Greeley, of Ardmore, unofficial adopted favorite son, Doug Drace, sister, Novena Cole and husband, Obie of Fairfield, Iowa, sister-in-law, Audrey St. Clair, nephews: Robert, Ronald, Marc, Lenny, and, Mike, niece, Caresse and one aunt, Mildred Bates-Smith.
