Joyce Honeycutt, age 76, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Three Rivers Cemetery at Okay, Okla. Joyce was born on February 4, 1940, at Okay, Oklahoma, to Chester Honeycutt and Elizabeth (Bowling) Honeycutt. She attended Okay Schools. She married J.C. Gable and from that marriage came two sons, Jacky and Chris. Joyce married Eddie Sexton and from that marriage came three children, two sons and a daughter, Warren, Shirly, and Blue. She married Charley and from that marriage came one daughter, Mary Beth. In December of 1974, Joyce married Woody Bass and accepted his children as her own, Gabby, Little Woody, and Susie. After that marriage ended in 1984, Joyce entered into a relationship with longtime friend, David Rice. Joyce loved reading murder mysteries and true crime books. She enjoyed spending time with David, sitting in the backyard and enjoying nature. David and Joyce liked to spend time together going to flea markets and sales. She was preceded in death by her parents, and four children who preceded her in death. Joyce is survived by David Rice of the home and two children, Mary Beth and Chris. Two sisters, Marie Bishop and Carolyn Catron.
