Roy Christian Marris, age 92, passed away on March 2, 2017, at Ardmore, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at McAlister Cemetery with Pastor Steve Wall Officiating.
Roy was born on May 29, 1924, to Christian Marris and Mitchell Isaac in Ardmore, Okla. He was of the Baptist faith. Roy was an avid bowler and golfer and he loved to go fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Roy is survived by his wife, Letha, of the home; he leaves behind his favorite cat, Sheba and his cousin, Roy C. Marris and wife Bonnie, three sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and host of family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Friday evening, March 3, 2017, at Griffin~Hillcrest.
