Obituary of Debbie Yvonne Skaggs DeLisle

Debbie Yvonne Skaggs DeLisle, passed away at the age 58, at Tacoma, Washington, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm, Friday, January 27, 2017, at The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest Funeral Home with Dr. Rick Baggett officiating. Debbie was born on April 20, 1958, in Ardmore, Okla., to Larry and Janice (Minter) Skaggs. She attended Northwest Elementary School and graduated from Plainview High School with the Class of 1976. Debbie started her career in the banking industry in Ardmore, Okla. She moved to Oklahoma City to work for a savings and loan company, and in 1987 moved to Tacoma, Washington, where she continued working in banking at Salal Credit Union as a loan officer. She enjoyed riding with the Tacoma Hogs Motorcycle Club and served as secretary for the club. In her spare time, Debbie loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She will be remembered for her devotion to family. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Skaggs, in January of 1986. Debbie is survived by the love of her life of 19 years: Darren Kukuk, three daughters: Jennifer Moehrle, Kirstyn Levesque, and Crystal Kukuk, two granddaughters: Eden Levesque and Blayke Moehrle, mother, Janice Skaggs Peery and step-father, Jack Peery, of Purcell, Okla., and one brother, Scott Skaggs, of Ardmore, Okla.
