Lorilla Yvonne Coop, age 77, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016, at Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, January 7, 2016, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest with Pastor Helen Waters officiating. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Ardmore, Okla. Lorilla was born on January 4, 1939, to Fred Edward Turner and Emma Gertrude (Toombs) Turner in Shay, Okla. Lorilla was a devoted homemaker, always caring for her family and her faith. She will be remembered for her love of her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law, two brothers, and one sister. Lorilla is survived by her sons: Billy Coop and wife, Lynda, of Ardmore, Okla., and Glenn Coop and wife, Caria, of Ft. Worth, Texas, and daughter, Shirley Wright and husband, Dr. Harold Wright, of Kingston, Okla. Eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Sister, Margaret Morgan, of Ardmore, Okla., brother, Fred Wayne Turner, of Worthington, Minn., and a special niece, Barbara Dunlap and husband, Charles, of Ardmore, Okla. Serving as pallbearers will be B.J. Coop Jr., Chris Vick, Charles Dunlap, Dr. Harold Wright, Josh Coop, and Justin Coop. Serving as honorary bearer will be Jeff Vaughan. Family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday evening, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, January 6, 2016, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest, Ardmore, Okla.
