Nadine Leoma (Brown) Lewis, age 85, passed away on June 13, 2023, in Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, June 19, 2023, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest with Pastor Larry Hawkins officiating. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Ardmore, Okla. Nadine was born in Tishomingo, Okla. on July 10, 1937, to Morgan Brown and Lillian Sealy (Levi) Brown. She married James Kenneth Lewis, Sr., on November of 1957 and from this union came three boys and three girls. She worked for seventeen years as a nurse’s aide for The Seventh - Day Adventist Hospital and three years at mercy hospital. She loved going to gospel singing, riding around looking for wild onions and going with the church to falls creek. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, three sisters and one brother. Nadine is survived by three daughters, Lisa Bamburg, Sandra Lee, and Melanie Pyle. Two sisters, Suzanne and Charley Russell of Ada, and Betty Baptiste of Ardmore, two brothers, Edison Sealy of Ada, and Emmitt Brown and wife, Connie of Texas. Ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Billy Lee, Robert Lee, Jimmy Lewis Jr., Greg Clark, Levi Lewis and Cheyenne Perry. Honorary bearers will be Mary Ann and Darrell Sampson. The family would like to express a special thank you to cross timbers hospice for their loving care.
