Rosella “Rosie” Vaughn, age 74, passed from this Earth on Friday, February 17, 2017, at Ardmore, Okla. Cremation services with Griffin~Hillcrest, Ardmore, Okla. A Time of Celebration will be held on Sunday afternoon, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, February 19, 2017, at Griffin~Hillcrest, Ardmore, Okla.
Rosie was born to Horace Milliken and Carrie (Hughes) Milliken on August 1, 1942, at Lebanon, Okla. She graduated from Lone Grove High School in 1961. She worked in Housekeeping at Memorial Hospital. Rosie received a perfect attendance award when she retired on September 15, 1992. She loved reading and spending time with her grandkids. Rosie was a beautiful soul who touched many lives and will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Helen Hughes, and Robert and Celie Milliken, and two brothers: Tommy Milliken and Grey Milliken.
Rosie is survived by son, Marshall Vaughn and wife, Patricia, of Ardmore, Okla., and daughter, Shelly Holly and husband, Tony, of Red Oak, Okla. Eight grandsons: Tyler Rains, Dusty vonRee, Garrett vonRee, Logan Yowell, Tanner Miller, Rabbit Holly, Thomas Vaughn, and Tristan Vaughn, and granddaughter, Amelia Vaughn. Sister, Geraldine Arnold and husband, Tommy, of Healdton, Okla., and brother, Austin Milliken and wife, Ginger, of New Mexico.
